1. 가주어 it

☞that 절이 문장의 주어로 오게 되면, 주어가 길어져 문장의 균형이 어색해진다. 따라서, 주어 자리에 it을 써 주고 that절을 문장 뒤로 보내는 경우가 많은데, 이때의 it을 ‘가주어’ 라고 하고, ‘진주어’ 라고 한다.
